So in honor of Talk Like a Pirate Day (and because I’ve really been meaning to do this since the end of July), I am proud to announce that my husband’s awesome game company, Whirling Derby, launched over the summer! Our most epic and piratastic game is called Zerpang! (Zombies Elves Robots Pirates Aliens Ninjas and Gunslingers)

You start from one corner of the board and move in on the other players, trying to collect cards and get to your victory condition before everyone else.

• Pirates have to surround the buried treasure in the center, ninjas have to occupy the great houses of Chan, Carradine, Norris, Yun-Fat, Van Damme, and Li.
• Aliens have to abduct other players, zombies have to infect other players.
• Gunslingers have to make a trail across the board to ride into the sunset, robots have to upload all their pieces to the cloud mind in the center.
• And Elves… just have to wait until all the other races die of old age. 

It’s a massively fun game my husband has been developing and testing for the past 6 years, and it works for 2-6 players. We’re really excited to be releasing it, so please tell all your Zombie, Elf, Robot, Pirate, Alien, Ninja and Gunslinger friends and acquaintances about it!
